In addition, it explains how the visits to the farms were carried out, the workshops carried out and the advice so that the farmers understand the benefits of quality in the product that can be achieved through the adoption of this philosophy. Then a new model of strategic skills will be presented to guide small agricultural companies in the sector to achieve success with sustainable results. Finally, it is explained that through the adoption of this model for the transition to become sustainable organizations.Item Process approach and SCOR model to reduce delivery delays for a maintenance equipment supplier for mineral transportation(LACCEI Inc., 2021-07) Salas-Loayza, Fernando; Barboza-Miyoshi, Ricardo; Chavez-Soriano, Pedro; Ramos, Edgar; Salas-Castro, Rosa; Macassi, IlianaThis document presents the implementation of the SCOR and BPM model in a company that distributes equipment for the mining sector in Peru. Three levels of SCOR are used, the first two to identify the processes of the supply chain and the sub-processes of each of them, in the third level BPM is modeled and used where the processes are analyzed to detect the root cause of late delivery orders, generating the penalty payment. To reduce late orders, the processes and methods are redesigned. For the implementation, SCOR and BPM good practices are used for the development of the procedures, while the control and follow-up is done with the indicators that are also established in the SCOR model, expecting an improvement objective of up to 50% as proposed by other authors, so through simulation of improved processes it is obtained that result of order fulfillment is reduced by 3 weeks, achieving that orders delivered on time improve by 49% reaching objective proposed for this study.Item Quality Management Model in Banana Production: Case Study in Mala-Perú(LACCEI Inc., 2020-07) Diaz-Umpire, Manuel; Chariarse-Vargas, Luis; Sotelo, Fernando; Ramos, EdgarThis document proposes a Quality Management model based on the characterization of processes and good agricultural practices established by Ecuador, which will have four subprocesses that will be responsible for standardization and will cover all aspects necessary to achieve increased productivity : quality planning, quality control, internal quality audit and quality training, so that with these tools the farmer achieved an increase in production and also of the income generated from the implementation of the quality system proposed in the present document.Item Standardize Strawberry Crops by Applying the Quality Function Deployment in Huaura, Perú(LACCEI Inc., 2020-07) Memenza, Antonio; Cauty, Niels; Sotelo, Fernando; Ramos, EdgarThis research work seeks to propose the application of the QFD quality management tool in strawberry cultivation processes in the Huaura area. In the first instance, a review of the literature corresponding to the tool applied to agriculture is carried out, with which the quality control model for the strawberry production process is based. The hypothesis was established that the application of this quality control model will achieve the standardization of strawberry crops so that quality standards that allow export are achieved. A pilot implementation plan is proposed to corroborate the veracity of this hypothesis, selecting a particular type of strawberry, two farmers in the area and an implementation horizon of 8 months. It is expected to find the viability of this model to improve the quality of the strawberries of Huaura and the replicability of it to spread it in the region
