| dc.description.abstract | Una imagen vale más que mil palabras y de una imagen satelital pueden contener una gran cantidad de datos. Estos datos pueden ser utilizados para conocer cosas tan simples como el movimiento de las nubes o cosas tan complicadas y extensas como estudiar el crecimiento poblacional en una región específica. Por tanto, surge el interés de aprovechar esta información de forma que se abra la posibilidad de explorar la versatilidad del procesamiento digital de imágenes con el fin de estudiar y monitorear el crecimiento de la vegetación y los efectos de la deforestación dentro del territorio de la Republica Dominicana. | en_US |
