dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio detalla la caracterización geotécnica y estructural de las Ignimbritas del Grupo Saraguro en la vía Pasaje – Santa Isabel. La investigación permitió caracterizar estructural y geotécnicamente estos productos ignimbríticos. En esta investigación se utilizan los métodos RMR y SMR para cuantificar, determinar la calidad de los macizos rocosos y sugerir mecanismos para mejorar su estabilidad. El macizo rocoso se presenta de ¨mala calidad¨ en acuerdo a la metodología RMR, y parcialmente estable de acuerdo al SMR. Algunas soluciones de estabilidad son presentadas en acuerdo a las condiciones del macizo.en_US
