    WELCOME, PRESIDENT OF LACCEI 2022. As of January 1, Dr. Laura Eugenia Romero Robles began her term as president of LACCEI 2022. Her academic training is in Cement Chemistry Specialties and cementitious materials and in Cosmetic Technology and development of topical formulations. She has a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Master of Science with a specialty in Analytical Chemistry from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico, and is also a Specialist in Cement Chemistry and Cementitious Materials from ITESM.

    AXCES.info. The portfolio of services offered by LACCEI continues to expand. We are now launching the AXCES Digital Library (AXCES.info) where the proceedings of the conferences, bulletins, and the quarterly magazine Innovation are stored. The purpose of this repository is even broader. It will be available to academic institutions that are members and allies of LACCEI, as well as to users of the Agora Meetings platform, so they can collect and index their academic and scientific publications. In this way, they can achieve greater visibility and increase their impact, ensuring universal access and long-term preservation. AXCES is managed jointly by LACCEI and AGORA Meetings, two non-profit organizations with social purposes that coincide in promoting collaboration between national and international entities for the advancement of education, practice, research and innovation in science, engineering and technology. Academic or scientific papers may be published in AXCES as long as they go through a peer review process or have been approved by recognized editorial committees. These papers can include those disclosed in congresses, events, magazines, or other publications and activities organized by LACCEI, AGORA Meetings or other authorized entities.
