The objective of this work was to compare the physical-mechanical properties of Eucalipto (Celendín – Cajamarca), Tornillo and Copaiba (Rodríguez de Mendoza – Amazonas), for this, 120 specimens were tested for each type of Wood, being a total of 360 specimens, which were tested in the concrete laboratory of the Universidad Privada del Norte, Cajamarca headquarters. The tests that were carried out were Moisture Content (E=14.97%, T=11.16%, C=18.92%), Basic Density (E=0.851 gr/cm3, T=0.663 gr/cm3, C=0.888 gr/cm3), Modulus of Elasticity of Compression Parallel to Grain (E=1928.78 kg/cm2, T=2730.09 kg/cm2, C=2699.70 kg/cm2), Stresses at the Limit of Proportionality of Compression Perpendicular to the Grain (E=70.06 kg/cm2, T=60.16 kg/cm2, C=52.42 kg/cm2), Modulus of Elasticity of Static Flexion (E=329473.63 kg/cm2, T=261823.27 kg/cm2, C=120437.22 kg/cm2). Being the Tornillo and Eucalipto, the most recommended woods for use as on-site formwork.en_US
