The inclusion of recycled rubber as aggregate in the mortar composition was investigated. Two dosages were evaluated for the Mortar with Recycled Rubber, 1: 2: 1 and 1: 2: 2, the dosage being structured as cement: sand: recycled rubber. For the Traditional Mortar, the 1: 2 dosage was used. Three types of tests were performed, the absorption, density and compression resistance. The results indicate that recycled rubber does not contribute significantly to the compressive strength of the mortar. Between the two dosages of Mortar with Recycled Rubber, the 1: 2: 1 dosage obtained slightly better results than the mortar with the 1: 2: 2 dosage.en_US
